Tabs are round semi-transparent stickers applied to folded mail pieces to ensure the mail piece does not unfold in the mail stream. USPS requires different tab positions depending on the mail piece size and fold. Letter size booklets and some self-mailers require three tabs. The website will determine the correct number of tabs based on the product.
