[HotHelp] What's the difference between glossy and matte paper stock?
Coated papers come in two finishes: glossy (shiny and smooth) and matte (flat and non-reflective).
Glossy coated papers reflect light evenly, making them ideal for a wide range of printing projects. They offer excellent ink holdout, which is crucial for producing sharp, vibrant images.
Matte coated papers, on the other hand, do not reflect light and are perfect for designs with a more subtle, understated appearance.
